Are the meats shipped frozen? 

Yes, all meats ship frozen. There could be some thawing. We recommend placing it in the freezer or fridge upon receipt. Freezing helps preserve the meat and maintain its quality during transit. 

Our recommended time in the fridge to thaw is 24 hours for optimal results and taste.

Can customers freeze meat? If so, how to prepare after freezing?

Yes, they can be frozen. Just place in the freezer upon receipt. When ready to eat, put it in the fridge to thaw for 24 hours for optimal results and taste. 

How do I prepare the food? Can I microwave it?

While our meats are primarily designed to be heated in a skillet, you can also use other cooking methods if you prefer.

For the best flavor and texture, we recommend heating the meat in a skillet and covering it with a lid. This method helps to retain the moisture and enhance the taste. However, if you would like to reheat the meat in a microwave or air-fryer, you certainly can. Just keep in mind that the results may vary slightly compared to using a skillet.

What is the shelf life of meat? Shelf life if kept sealed? Unsealed? Refrigerated? Not refrigerated? Frozen?

Our assumption is that all products arrive frozen and are placed in their freezer. 

Frozen: 4-6 months

Sealed and refrigerated: 10-14 days

Unsealed and refrigerated: 3-5 days

How long will it take to receive my package?

Once an order is placed with FEASTbox, it takes about 3-5 days to process and fulfill. We understand the importance of delivering fresh products to our customers, which is why we only ship using 1 to 2-day transit options. This ensures that your order arrives in the best possible condition.

To maintain the freshness of our meats during transit, we include double liners and 2-4 ice packs in each package. These measures help keep the food cold and fresh.

We are constantly working to improve our processes and decrease the turnaround time for order fulfillment. We strive to provide the best possible service to our customers and appreciate your understanding as we continue to grow and refine our operations.

How will I receive updates/confirmation?

All updates are sent through email or you can contact our customer service department.

Is our meat lab-grown?

No. Our meat is locally sourced from ranches across the Rocky Mountain West Region, and is Grass Fed Natural Meat.

Where do we source our meat? (+ Sourcing Practices)

Our meat is sourced with locally family owned ranches across the Rocky Mountain West Region of the USA. Our meat is grass fed where all animals are treated in respectful and humane manners.

What do I do if my order is late, canceled, or wrong?

Important allergen/dietary information – GF, Celiacs, Meat substitution options?

All of our meats, sauces, and marinades are gluten free. If you or someone you know has Celiac, we recommend you proceed with caution, as our production and packing facility is not a gluten free facility and there might be cross contamination. Meat substitutes are not available at this time.

What certifications does your product have? 

Department of Agriculture approved (We are working towards USDA approval)

What if the order shows up warm?

Meats should have a temperature of 41 degrees or below to comply with food safety standards. We do not recommend customers consume anything over 41 degrees for their own safety. Our orders are sent frozen with double insulated liners and 2 to 4 ice packs. However, we understand that sometimes extreme temperatures, delays from UPS, or the mishandling of packages can cause issues like warm food. If this happens, please reach out to our customer support team and they will work with you to find the best solution.

Can I change the contents and quantities of the order in my subscription?

Once you have placed your order and it has been processed and shipped, we unfortunately cannot make any changes. If for any reason you want to make a change, please reach out to our customer service team and ask. They can let you know if it is already shipped. If not, they should be able to make adjustments to your order, however with any adjustment, your total price paid will also change, as each product has unique pricing.

Is there a minimum order requirement?

There is a $90 order minimum

What is the subscription?

What spices do we use? Can we even tell people that or is it a secret

Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team if you have questions or concerns about a specific spice or ingredient that is not listed. We list all regularly listed allergens, but if you have a specific question, please reach out. 

What items use corn products?

Kalua pork, teriyaki meats, and spicy pork all contain corn products.

Can you add a nutrition facts section to the website?

Each product page has a breakdown of each meat's ingredients and nutrition facts.

How can I ensure that I am sticking to my macros or nutrition plan while using your meats?

Every one or our products contains a complete breakdown of all nutrition facts on the packaging. All Fats, Carbohydrates, and Proteins are outlined as regularly and legally required. Please refer to this in your attempt to stay true to your personal nutrition planning.

Is the sauce or marinade included in the nutritional facts and breakdown on the meat packaging?
No, the nutritional facts are for the meat alone and anything that is included in the prep, and cook of the meat before packaged.

The additional sauce and/or marinade pouches that come in your shipment all contain their own nutritional information for themselves.
